How We Work

You Bring Your Car

If your car breaks down, bring it to us or call us - we will guide you on the steps to take to safely get the vehicle to our location in a timely manner. Once at our shop, we will recommend the needed repairs or inspections required to properly diagnose the vehicle.

We Repair It

In the next step, we evaluate the damage. Using Factory tools and equipment we inspect your vehicle for the exact cause of the failure and other possible problems. We notify you about the findings and prepare a quote for you. All this is sent to you digitally, with pictures and pricing. You can either call us to authorize the repairs or approve directly via the digital inspection.

You Pick Up The Car

After your approval, we start the repair. Duration of repairs depends on the damage and our time frame. After the repair is finalized we will contact you and schedule a pick up during or off hours. We also offer contactless pick up and pay via text or email with our new digital system.

Oil Change Service

Our oil change Service is performed using OE recommended fluids and filters to meet the manufacturer requirements. An included multi-point inspection is always performed to pinpoint any present issues or recommendations.

Diagnostics

Check Engine light, ABS, Traction Control, SRS or any other warning on? We can diagnose it properly with our Dealer Level trained technicians and Dealer Scan tools. Contact us to Schedule an appointment.

Air Conditioning

We can perform a system performance test of your air conditioning system. If any issues are found we can troubleshoot and repair them to within the manufacturer specifications. We are equipped to service all r134a and the new 123yf systems on the newer model vehicles.

Brake Inspections and Repairs

We will provide a comprehensive brake inspection. If any repairs are required we only use top of the line parts recommended by the manufacturer to maintain the proper stopping performance of your vehicle.

Maintenance Service Intervals

We perform service intervals to meet the manufacturer recommendations. We always advise you on priority of needed services giving you a future plan.

I brought my car in to have a safety check and some basic maintenance. What I got was friendly professional service from the time I entered the door. Everything felt clean and safe. As I was waiting for the finishing touches I watched how everyone was being treated and was impressed by what I saw. i don't care to deal with car maintenance but my experience was more than pleasant. Just a note, the location is great by the highway. Not only that, I walked all around sight seeing, in the area, lots of things to see and do. I'm taking my car in for a few more adjustments next week. Highly recommended.

I had a catastrophic breakdown of my beloved 1997/740i baby. Catalpas got me right in, and started to work. They had a very professional way of showing me exactly what was wrong and the order of necessary repairs. I have now driven my car to Lake Tahoe and back, and the car performed beautifully. I have been taking my car here for 5 years. I had been taking it to the BMW dealership previously. My preference is for independent service businesses. Catalpa was the dream shop. Friendly, ease in getting an appointment, extremely clean and organized facility. The best part of the experience was the quality service. Never a bad experience: accurate estimate, correct diagnosis, definitely less expensive than the dealership, and never have had to return because of faulty service. I can’t imagine a better place to go to have my car serviced.

I had not found a decent mechanic for MINI on this side of the hill, until I went to CATALPA.They caught a bunch of stuff that was wrong with the car that other mechanics (even the dealership) missed. And now the car runs amazing.The staff is always super friendly and informed about what is happening to the car, and the automated system they have to track progress runs very nicely.Certainly recommended for other MINI owners, and cars in general.
